Term: when people as to see your book they mean your portfolio. Not literally a book :)

What is the role of your website?
What role of work you bring to the interview?
What is the difference between a portfolio and a presentation?
Will you have just a website and digital presentation or will you have a website and something printed?

First Question you have to answer is are you going to be completely digital?
Website + Digital Portfolio? or
Website + Something Printed?

Currently scenario is not wrong or better it is up to what you want to do. When looking for your second job you most likely will be completely digital but now you can play to your strengths and you have access to printing!

PROCESS
Try 2 different kinds of projects and lay them out 3 different ways. How can you tell the story? What is your narrative/story/thought process/physical process? What do you want people to get out of the project you are showing? What information do you want to include on the page? Name, Type of project, Description, Challenge, Brand Attributes, Fonts used? Let yourself explore how you can show the project. Play that up. What is the best way? Once you have a couple down you can fill in the rest of your portfolio.

Test it. On screen. Use the proper screen proportions.
Try it Projected.
Printed...(if it is printed how does it translate to a pdf -- just in-case?

Build it out.
